ARC, Sound Moves Return to Glyndebourne with DiGiCo SD10B

LEWES, U.K. – In 1998, audio production companies Andy Rose Consultants (ARC) and Sound Moves used a Soundtracs DPC-II digital console to broadcast two live operas from the historic Glyndebourne venue in Sussex. Thirteen years later, the same two companies have facilitated another live broadcast for the same place, this time using the DPC-II's latest successor, the DiGiCo SD10B.

SAN FRANCISCO – Running sound for the Boxcar Theatre's musical show Little Shop of Horrors isn't like your typical musical Broadway production sound setup where all the action takes place on the stage. The show starts in the lobby of the theatre-where it's transformed into Mushnick's floral shop-and proceeds into the streets for "Skid Row." After Skid Row, the audience and cast are brought into the theatre. Dollar, founder of World Changers Church International (WCCI), reaches a local congregation of 8,500 within the church's dome-shaped sanctuary. Ottawa Bluesfest Main Stage Collapses During Cheap Trick

OTTAWA – A squall knocked down the main stage overhead rig on the last day of the 12-day Cisco Ottawa Bluesfest on Sunday, July 17, about 20 minutes after Cheap Trick started performing. The band members and most of the crew were reported to be okay and no fatalities were reported, since the overhead truss and gear fell backward, away from the crowd, onto some trucks. But three people were hospitalized and released, including Sandy Sanderson, a truck driver for Cheap Trick, who sustained the most serious injuries.
