ORLANDO – The Parnelli Board of Directors has announced that Flo & Eddie (Mark Volman and Howard Kaylan) will be hosting the Parnelli Awards at the Peabody Orlando Oct. 29. Known for hits like "Happy Together" as founding members of The Turtles, Flo & Eddie also played and toured extensively with Frank Zappa and are currently touring with the Happy Together Again tour.

CHESTNUT HILL, PA – St. Paul's Episcopal church was built in 1929 with a ship-shaped ceiling. It harkens back to the Ark and Biblical fishermen, but, unfortunately, it's less-than-ideal for audio reproduction. The Rev. HUNTSVILLE, AL – The Von Braun Center, which opened in 1974, recently underwent a $15 million renovation that included a new audio system designed by consultant Bob Ledo of Coffeen Fricke and Associates. The system is based around multiple clusters of Renkus-Heinz ST-Series loudspeakers.

OMAHA, NE – Omaha may not yet have a major league franchise, but there's nothing minor league about the new TD Ameritrade Park. The $128 million stadium, home to the Creighton Bluejays and the NCAA's premier event, the College World Series, has brought a major league baseball experience to the city.

LOS ANGELES – For The X Factor, which will debut in the U.S. on Sept. 21 on the FOX network, Michael Abbott, owner of All Ears, Inc. is using a Yamaha DM2000 for the broadcast mix of the audition phase of the production taped in Los Angeles, Dallas, Newark, New Jersey, Miami, and Seattle.
