NAMM’S “Wanna Play?” Stage Featured Community Loudspeakers, Ashly Amps

ANAHEIM, CA – Michael Bell of Bell Event Services provided audio support for the “Wanna Play?” stage at the 2012 Winter NAMM show. The stage featured Community loudspeakers and subwoofers, powered by Ashly’s KLR-4000 amplifiers. The stage takes its name from NAMM’s “Wanna Play?” campaign, which encourages people of all ages and backgrounds to take up a musical instrument and perform. Last year, the “Wanna Play?” stage used a similar Ashly/Community configuration.

ISE 2012 Sets New Attendance Records

AMSTERDAM — Integrated Systems Europe set a new record for number of exhibitors — 825, up 15 percent from the year before, with close to 200 new exhibitors, and overall attendance — 40,869, up 17 percent from the year before, for the AV and electronic systems integration trade event that occupied 11 halls of the Amsterdam RAI from Jan. 31-Feb 2. Other new records include total floor space (about 323,000 square feet) and registrants for the pre-show conference and educational sessions (more than 2,000 for the first time.)

GREENDALE, WI — Greendale High School (GHS), located less than 10 miles southwest of downtown Milwaukee, WI, recently capped off renovations to its Reiman Family Arts Wing with the installation of an L-Acoustics KIVA line source system. Designed and installed by Clearwing Productions, the new gear upgrades the audio system used for the school’s 876-seat Henry Ross Auditorium.
