Dante-MY16-AUD Updated for Remote Head Amp Control

BUENA PARK, CA — Yamaha Commercial Audio Systems, Inc., which markets the Audinate Dante-MY16-AUD Mini-YGDAI interface card, noted that it been updated to allow remote head amp control. The updated version allows the head amps in the new Rio3224-D and Rio1608-D I/O rack units, developed for the new Yamaha CL console line, to be remotely controlled from an M7CL, LS9, PM5D, DM2000, and DM1000 digital mixing console.

Peter Gabriel Tours with Firehouse-Supplied L-Acoustics K1 System

LOS ANGELES — Firehouse Productions deployed a full L-Acoustics K1 system for Peter Gabriel’s North American Back To Front trek from Sept. 16-Oct. 14. The tour marks the 25th anniversary of the album, So. On most tour stops, there are L-R hangs of 14 K1 plus six KARA below for down-fill, with adjacent hangs of eight K1-SB subs. Typical out-fills include an additional 10 K1 and six KARA flown per side, paired with eight ARCS and six dV-DOSC below for front- and lip-fill.
