Mullins Center Arena at UMass Debuts Sound System with QSC

AMHERST, MA — Located on the University of Massachusetts-Amherst campus, the William D. Mullins Memorial Center Arena is home of the Minutemen basketball and ice hockey and Minutewomen basketball teams, as well as hosting concerts and other events. The 10,500-seat venue recently replaced its 20-year-old installed PA with a new QSC Audio ILA System.

RMB Audio Provides MLA Compact at NC State Fair

RALEIGH, NC — RMB Audio has provided audio for the J.S. Dorton Arena at the North Carolina State Fair for 21 years, and even though they’ve used Martin Audio throughout that time, this year marked their first deployment of the MLA Compact system. Dorton Arena is the venue for evening performance concerts held during the State Fair with performers such as Michael W. The Book of Mormon Tours with L-Acoustics KARA System

LOS ANGELES — Masque Sound is supporting the touring production of Broadway’s The Book of Mormon with audio gear including an L-Acoustics KARA system. Sound designer Brian Ronan, who specified the gear, is getting an on-the-road assist from touring engineers Cody Spencer and Christopher Sloan. The KARA setup has varied for different performance spaces, and Ronan credited the KARA gear for its help in overcoming unique architectural challenges.
