Audinate Joins OCA Alliance as Associate Member

PORTLAND, OR — Audinate, owner of the Dante media networking solution, has joined the Open Control Architecture (OCA) Alliance, which recently incorporated and now functions as an open-standards trade association. Audinate is now an associate member of the trade group.

Visitor Center at Casa Grande Ruins Installs Renkus-Heinz Gear

COOLIDGE, AZ — No Limits AV installed a new audio system for the multi-purpose theater within the Casa Grande Ruins visitor center here. Nagaki Design Build Associates designed the visitor center. For the theater’s sound system, No Limits AV opted for a setup including five Renkus-Heinz CF-Series loudspeakers. Three CFX81 two-way 8-inch speakers cover system’s left, right, and center channels, while the surrounds are handled by a pair of CFX61 two-way 6 1/2-inch speakers.

Gardner-Webb University Installs Two Dante-enabled Yamaha CL Consoles

BOILING SPRINGS, NC — Working with ASE Group, staffers at Gardner-Webb University recently installed Yamaha CL1 and CL5 digital consoles and two RIO3224s, which were purchased through Full Compass, in Stewart Hall within the school’s new 110,000 square-foot Tucker Student Center. Stewart Hall is designed to be able to be divided into three performance spaces.

Forty Two Inc. Hits the Campaign Trail with QSC Loudspeakers

COLUMBUS, OH — Following a fire at a property adjacent to its former location, AV staging, rental and sales company Forty Two Inc. relocated its headquarters and re-equipped, acquiring new WideLine, KLA and K Series loudspeaker systems from QSC Audio Products. Forty-Two Inc. put the new systems to work at a campaign event led by President Barack Obama at Ohio State University in Columbus.

Austin City Limits Music Festival Gets Frequency Coordination Assist from PWS

AUSTIN, TX — Professional Wireless Systems (PWS) worked with C3 Presents, producer of the 11th annual Austin City Limits Music Festival to coordinate 350 frequencies per day across eight stages for artists and the media during the three-day event, held in Zilker Park Oct. 12-14. PWS, a Masque Sound company that supplies and supports wireless systems for live and broadcast events, sent a four-person crew to ensure all wireless microphones, in-ear monitors and show communications were properly coordinated and operating properly.
