COLLEGE STATION, TX – For Breakaway Ministries, which sponsors weekly Bible study events on the campus of Texas A&M University here, Houston-based Puresound has been providing audio support. The gatherings, staged in either the Reed basketball arena or the Kyle Field football stadium, are heard via JBL VerTec speakers. Along with sound quality, Puresound needed a system that could be setup and taken down quickly. Each venue only allots an hour for setup and an hour for tear-down.

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — Bader Field in Atlantic City was the site for the first VetRock concert, held June 1 in honor of those who served in the Vietnam War.  ACIR Professional provided new d&b Audiotechnik J rig along with a Yamaha CL5 and PM5D consoles at FOH and monitors. Along with Shure, AKG, Sennheiser, Electro-Voice, Audio-Technica and Countryman mics, the event relied upon Shure and Sennheiser wireless systems.
