CCI Solutions Solves Challenges Posed by Dome-Shaped Space with Mackie Gear

OAK HARBOR, WA – CCI Solutions provided a a 360-degree all-Mackie audio system for an expansion project that included a new multi-purpose youth facility for 900-member Life Church here. Housed in a futuristic looking geodesic dome, the youth center is designed as a circular worship space with integrated audiovisual system and seating for 150. The unusual space presented with some unique acoustical challenges.

IATSE Local 30, Indiana OSHA Announce Settlement

INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana’s state deputy labor commissioner and IATSE Local 30’s business manager signed an agreement Sept. 9 that frees the union of the $11,500 penalty assessed by the state’s OSHA after the Aug. 13, 2011 stage structure collapse at the Indiana State Fair.
