OAK HARBOR, WA – CCI Solutions provided a a 360-degree all-Mackie audio system for an expansion project that included a new multi-purpose youth facility for 900-member Life Church here. Housed in a futuristic looking geodesic dome, the youth center is designed as a circular worship space with integrated audiovisual system and seating for 150. The unusual space presented with some unique acoustical challenges.

BATON ROUGE, LA – In the fall of 2009, St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church embarked on an ambitious campaign “To Build a Future of Hope!” Among its various directives was the complete renovation of the church. Recognizing the importance of delivering a high level of speech intelligibility and music reproduction to the congregation, the church recently completed installation of a new sound reinforcement system—and at the heart of that system is audio processing and wireless microphone technology from Rio Rancho, NM-based Lectrosonics.

NEW YORK CITY, NY — This summer, New York Philharmonic performed a series of five concerts in parks throughout New York City using a Meyer Sound LEO(TM) linear large-scale sound reinforcement system. Two large shows took place on Central Park’s Great Lawn, where Meyer Sound loudspeakers covered a widely dispersed audience estimated at more than 50,000.

ATLANTA — The nonprofit Center for Puppetry Arts, based here, presents more than 600 live performances in two on-site theatres each year. SALT LAKE CITY, UT – Dutch DJ and Producer Mark Sixma has several chart-topping tracks to his name and other major DJ’s including Armin van Buuren, Hardwell, and DJ Tiesto have played his music. Currently signed to Armada Music, a label in The Netherlands, Sixma is touring and playing some of the largest dance festivals in the world. CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi is situated on Ward Island, braced on one side by Oso Bay and on the other side by Corpus Christi Bay. The University built their new $9 million Dugan Family Soccer and Track Stadium and partnered with A/V design firm Anthony James, who specified Danley Sound Labs’ new OS-80 Loudspeaker for the new stadium.

SAN DIEGO, CA – The Detroit Jazz Festival celebrated its 36th season Aug. 30-Sept. 2 with a long roster of performers representing the genre in its varied forms. This year, artists on two of the festival’s stages were joined for the first time by VUE Audiotechnik’s new al-4 and al-8 line array systems, provided by Aerial Enterprises of Whitmore Lake, MI.

HANOVER, MD — The Church of Philippi, founded here in 1993, moved to a new, larger facility in 2009. The church leadership recently opted to upgrade their sound system and installed Lab.gruppen C Series amplifiers to drive the church’s main PA and monitors for the five worship services that take place every Sunday.
