LOS ANGELES – Audio-Technica provided a number of microphones for the GRAMMY Awards telecast, which took place this year live at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Monday, February 15, 2016.

PHILADELPHIA – Currently in the midst of a five-month tour that will span the United States, EDM artist Brillz is bringing his unique brand of hip-hop/EDM on his Twonk Di Nation Tour featuring an all-star lineup, with rising festival trap artist Party Favor appearing on all dates and a rotating cast of support artists that includes Jackal, DOTCOM, Ghastly, LAXX, Kayzo, Party Thieves, Willy Joy, Y2K, Aryay, Dr. Fresch, and Infuze. The tour is carrying a VUE Audiotechnik monitor rig for the DJs consisting of eight VUE al-4s and four al-8SB subwoofers.  The system was supplied by Zeo Brothers Productions for use in the DJ Booth at all venues to help eliminate sound delay for the artists.

1,000 Users now on-board! This week the Current RMS Team are celebrating hitting the 1,000-user mark with close to 700 rental businesses worldwide now relying on the system to manage all their rental processes. SANTA CLARA, CA — ATK Audiotek was credited with another memorable Super Bowl Halftime Show with an assist from gear made by JBL/Harman, Powersoft and Sennheiser, among others. Pat Baltzell, pictured here during set up and rehearsals, served as sound designer and FOH mixer for the show, which featured performances by Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Beyoncé and Bruno Mars, and reached 111.9 million viewers. The audio production involved 18 mobile speaker carts, each equipped with JBL VT4889 line array elements, JBL VT4880A subwoofers and Powersoft K10 amplifiers.

SANTA CLARA, CA — Marking a half-century of America’s singularly most important sporting event, Super Bowl 50 did not disappoint in delivering electrifying performances during both pre-game and halftime programming. With a viewership of 111.9 million — the third highest in history — this year’s Super Bowl saw energetic performances from Beyoncé, Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga — all performing on Sennheiser wireless microphone systems.

RICHMOND, VIRGINIA – Stony Point Reformed Presbyterian Church in the Bon Air suburb of Richmond, Virginia built a new 500 seat sanctuary. FOH Ross Milby turned to Danley Sound Labs to upgrade their system. Richmond-based AV integration firm RTW Media, installed an LCR system composed of Danley Sound Labs loudspeakers, subwoofers, and DSP-enabled amplifiers to meet the needs of the growing church.

ATK Audiotek Delivers Seamless Audio Integration, as Powersoft Delivers Power for the Entire Halftime Show

SANTA CLARA, CA – Amplifier manufacturer Powersoft delivered audio to a crowd of 71,088 gathered for Super Bowl 50 at Levi’s Stadium last week, with more than 120 of its K10 high-performance power amplifiers and eight custom subwoofers featuring Powersoft M-System drivers.

MIAMI GARDENS, FL — Complying with the need for a six-minute setup, ACT Productions of Miami Beach provided a D.A.S. Audio system for John Fogerty’s halftime show at the 2015 Orange Bowl on Dec. 31, 2015. The football game, held at Sunlife Stadium, was won by the Clemson University Tigers, who beat the University of Oklahoma Sooners 37-17. The halftime show was sponsored by Capital One.
