Andrew Peterson’s Behold the Lamb of God Tour Travels with Roland M-5000 Console

NASHVILLE — Andrew Peterson’s Behold the Lamb of God Tour made its annual trek in Dec. 2015, with a tour-capping show at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on Dec. 13. Sound engineer Nolan Rossi, pictured here, used Roland’s M-5000 digital mixing console to manage both the FOH and monitor mixes for the show production, which involved 11 musicians and vocalists performing nightly in a variety of church and theatrical settings. Special guests included Cindy Morgan, Josh Garrells, Andy Gullahorn, Jill Phillips, Ron Block, Randall Goodgame and more.

VUE Audiotechnik Heads South To Bring Modern PA System To Historic Bojangles’ Coliseum

CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA – Boasting an incredible 60-year history of sports and entertainment, Bojangles’ Coliseum has played host to events ranging from Led Zeppelin to Sesame Street, Rev. Billy Graham to Ray Charles, and Les Misérables to the AHL’s Charlotte Checkers. The city of Charlotte, NC, approved a $16 million budget for renovation of the venue, including new seats, updated concession stands and club areas, a new scoreboard and video display and, of course, a new sound system comprised exclusively of VUE Audiotechnik’s al-Class loudspeakers.

Shure Microphones and Wireless Systems Rock 2016 GRAMMY Awards

NILES, ILLINOIS– The newly released Shure KSM8 Dualdyne microphone on a UHF-Rwireless transmitter makes its debut while the classic SM58marks 50 years on the GRAMMYstage. Beginning with host LL Cool J’s opening announcement and throughout the event, Shure microphones and wireless systems played a vital role in the production of the 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards. The telecast was presented live by CBS-TV from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 15, 2016.

NEW YORK – Last year, acclaimed Hip Hop Artist and Producer J Cole toured his latest Grammy Award nominated studio album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive (titled after his childhood home), to venues across USA and Europe. Clair Global Takes Delivery of First Two Yamaha Rivage PM10 Consoles to Arrive in U.S.

LITITZ, PA — Clair Global has taken delivery of the first two Yamaha Rivage PM10 Digital Audio Consoles to hit U.S. soil, according to Yamaha Commercial Audio. Both consoles are currently being used at front of house and monitors for Carrie Underwood’s “The Storyteller Tour.” Front of House engineer Kirk “Eek” Schreiner, pictured here, praised the console’s sound quality. “The Yamaha PM10 is the first digital desk that sounds analog to me,” he said.
