Audio-Technica Helps Bring The Jungle to Times Square

NEW YORK — Audio-Technica’s ATH-M70x headphones were used when mixing the sounds of the Amazon for Soundwalk Collective’s Jungle-ized: A Conversation with Nature art installation. Visitors to the exhibit have also used ATH-M70x headphones to listen to the audio portion of the art installation. The month-long art installation invites the public to experience the sights and sounds of the jungle in Times Square since the installation launched on April 1.

SAN ANTONIO, TX — To upgrade the listening experience within 18,000-capacity AT&T Center, home of the San Antonio Spurs NBA basketball team, Wrightson, Johnson, Haddon & Williams (WJHW) designed an L-Acoustics’ Kudo WST line source system installed by LD Systems. The system’s main components start with 72 Kudo elements flown in six arrays of 12 enclosures each, augmented with 24 SB28 subwoofers. The subs are flown in six cardioid arrays of four enclosures, located directly behind the main arrays.
