Saint Asonia Tours with CADLive Mics

TORONTO – FOH Engineer Jeff Gilmer has been using a variety of CADLive and other CAD Audio microphones on tour with Canadian supergroup Saint Asonia. Consisting of Adam Gontier (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Mike Mushok (lead guitar), Corey Lowery (bass) and Rich Beddoe (drums), Saint Asonia formed in Toronto in 2014 and released their debut RCA album Saint Ansonia in 2015. Since then, they’ve released several singles and have toured as headliners throughout Canada. Corey, Rich, Adam and Mike are pictured here, L-R.

CALUMET, OK — Located near Oklahoma City, Maple Schools is a K-8 elementary school serving 155 students. Its new “Clyde Gene Miller Gymnasium,” completed in 2014, is a state-of-the-art multi-purpose facility for Maple Eagles sports, band and choir performances, assemblies, graduations and other events. In 2015, Video Reality of Oklahoma City installed a new audio system using Community Professional V Series and I Series components in an exploded cluster configuration.

Tannoy layoffs announced

Music Group Announces Tannoy Layoffs, Possible Closure of Scotland Plant

COATBRIDGE, Scotland — Music Group, the corporate parent for brands such as Midas, Klark Teknik, Lab.gruppen, Lake, Tannoy, Turbosound, TC Electronic, TC Helicon and Behringer, has announced it plans to lay off approximately 70 staff positions at its manufacturing and office facility in Coatbridge, Scotland. The company is about to enter into a process of collective consultation with all affected employees, but in the event that the redundancies are confirmed following consultation, the Coatbridge facility would cease operations completely. In this event, the Tannoy loudspeaker production would be transferred to Music Group’s new three-million square-foot manufacturing plant in Zhongshan, China, with its research & development and marketing activities being relocated to its facility in Manchester, U.K.
