DAYTONA BEACH, FL — Morris provided a range of services including audio support and lighting gear at gigs across the Southeast over Memorial Day weekend. Events included the Bayou Country Superfest in Baton Rouge, LA; the Kenny Chesney ‘Spread the Love’ tour stop in Louisville, KY and (pictured here) the Country 500 at the Daytona International Speedway in Florida. A recent purchase of 578 new pieces of d&b audiotechnik equipment helped Morris successfully execute these events.

In Memoriam: John Arasim, 91

RIO RANCHO, NM —  Lectrosonics is mourning the loss of John Arasim, former president of the company and chairman of the board. Arasim died on May 30 with his family at his side. He was 91. NEW YORK — When Bright Star, Steve Martin and Edie Brickell’s highly anticipated musical made its Broadway debut March 24 at the Cort Theatre, it was the culmination of a long, successful journey for Sound Designer Nevin Steinberg and Masque Sound, a theatrical sound reinforcement, installation and design company. The two first collaborated on the show for its world premiere in 2014 at San Diego’s Old Globe Theatre before moving to the Kennedy Center for its pre-Broadway run this past winter. The Cort Theatre offered one of the biggest audio challenges when moving the show to Broadway.
