LAS VEGAS — Parnelli Week is here! The forecast for Siena Golf Course on Thursday, Oct. 20 is beautiful – low 80s and sunny. On-site registration is 7 a.m. and the shotgun start is at 8 a.m. sharp. The perfect weather continues for the Parnelli Awards gala at the Rio Hotel and Casino on Saturday, Oct. 22. Last minute tickets can be ordered online through Oct. 20. After that, if any tickets are still available, they can be ordered at the FOH/PLSN LDI booth, #623.

Focusrite’s RedNet Powers American Mobile

LOS ANGELES – American Mobile is redefining remote music production for live broadcast with Focusrite’s RedNet as the signal-transport backbone for their remote systems deployed this year to Lollapalooza, Outside Lands and Austin City Limits music festivals. American Mobile is currently adding an additional 64 channels of RedNet MPR8 mic preamps to the audio truck, expanding capability to at least 96 channels to keep up with the growing number of channel counts at complex shows.

Shure Provides for Christian Music Dove Awards

NASHVILLE—CTS Audio provided Shure wireless microphones and in-ear monitor systems for the 47th annual Dove Awards, which honored top artists in Christian music. All Shure wireless mics were networked together, along with 20 channels of PSM 1000 in-ear monitors through Shure’s Wireless Workbench software.

Maroon 5, L-Acoustics Share ‘One More Night’ Night After Night

LOS ANGELES – Though Maroon 5’s tour started in February 2015, it wasn’t until that summer when a K1/K2 system became available through Sound Image, which has been the tour’s main sound reinforcement vendor throughout. Bethel University Expands Football Sound Reinforcement with Ashly

MCKENZIE, TN – The growth at Bethel University’s football games has lead students to bring their own chairs, setting them up in the hilly, grassy areas outside of where the sound reinforcement system covered. Failing to resolve it with a music store equipment purchase, Bethel brought in Lowrance Sound Company, which brought in an Ashly system to solve the fans’ sound issues.
