Meyer Sound Chosen on Broadway Shows, Tours

NEW YORK – Meyer Sound Leo Family line arrays have been tapped to anchor the sound for some of the most talked-about new shows both on Broadway and heading out on national tours. New shows in New York include Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812, the Cats revival and the annual holiday spectacular at the Radio City Music Hall. In addition, the tours of Fun Home and Finding Neverland are both carrying Leopard line array systems.

Capitol City Church Turns to WorxAudio

DES MOINES, IA — Capitol City Church has upgraded its sound reinforcement system to include two TrueLine X2i-P All-In-One Compact Line Array enclosures from WorxAudio Technologies. The church’s original speaker system consisted of a center cluster of five underpowered 12-inch speakers. The layout of the cluster and the coverage pattern of the individual speakers was not adequate for the width of the room, so there were dropouts throughout the space and it was difficult to understand dialogue.

Danley Tames Baptist Church’s Problematic Dome

WARNER ROBINS, GA – Fellowship Bible Baptist Church featured a sanctuary in a dome-shaped building. While it was amazing to look at, the dome was an acoustical nightmare and wreaked havoc with intelligibility. Earthworks Improves Services at Green Acres Baptist Church

TYLER, TX – Nashville-based AV company Morris chose and installed the Earthworks FW730 FlexWand to upgrade the audio system at Green Acres Baptist Church in Tyler, TX. Serving the 300-voice choir loft was just one of the audio challenges. Morris CEO Danny Rosenbalm says, “The mics had to blend in visually. They could not hang from the ceiling and needed integrated cable management system. Lastly, they had to be of extremely high quality.”

DiGiCo ‘Purposefully’ Chosen for Justin Bieber Tour
