DALY CITY, CA–Digidesign has announced the appointment of Dave Skaff as Live Sound Product Specialist; Skaff brings over 26 years of experience as a live sound and studio engineer, and as a system designer and audio consultant. He most recently served as a Senior Staff Engineer for Clair Bros. Audio (1983-2006) and now joins multiple TEC Award-winning engineer Robert Scovill as part of Digidesign's live sound team.

BERKELEY, CA–From Luis Miguel's debut album, 1982's Un sol, through his most recent release, Mexico en la Piel in 2004, the Mexican singer's albums have been best sellers throughout Latin America and Europe. NORTHRIDGE, CALIFORNIA– The 18th FIFA (Federation Internationale de Football Assocation) World Cup got underway at the 66,000-seat Allianz Arena Stadium in Munich, Germany with a colorful, imaginative opening ceremony. Sirius Showequipment, with supporting equipment and crew from regional VerTec system owner Crystal Sound, was required to pre-stage the entire portable sound system, and craft a logistics and technical plan that would move the entire sound reinforcement system onto and away from the arena field while preserving critical competition playing greens.
