Scorpions Rock Cyprus

NORTHRIDGE, CA– Scorpions is a hard rock band from Hanover, Germany that helped to define the musical genre. The venerable group is perhaps best known for their 1980s rock anthem, "Rock You Like a Hurricane." Scorpions has been touring Europe throughout 2006 in support of a recently-released live concert DVD (One Night in Vienna). The band's July 23 outdoor show at Tsirium Stadium in Limassol, Cyprus was handled by rental firm MKG Touring Technologies, with the company's JBL VerTec VT4888 mid-size line array system.

Donations Sought For Cancer Relief Fund

MCKEES ROCKS, PA–Steve Raslevich of Northern Sound and Light has begun a campaign to raise money to benefit Jim Sidney and Bonnie Patterson of Gourmet PA Systems in their fight against Bonnie's breast cancer. Bonnie, 46 years old, was diagnosed with breast cancer in June of this year. Even with medical insurance, the co-pays and non-covered medical costs have already exceeded $20,000.00.

Aero At The "Mar de Músicas" Festival

VALENCIA, SPAIN–This year's twelfth edition the "La Mar de Músicas" festival devoted special attention to South Africa. Cinema, art and literature have accompanied the 40 concerts that took place at Spain's southern city of Cartagena from June 30 to July 22. The concerts featured internationally relevant names from the guest country as well as stars and young artists from other continents.
