Scouting For Girls Rocks Out with Adlib Audio

ENGLAND —ADLIB Audio supplied a V-DOSC sound system to the recent Scouting For Girls UK tour, which was specified by the band's FOH engineer Andy Williamson. It was the first time Williamson had toured with V-DOSC, who thought the time was right to give it a good road test. It was also his first time using ADLIB on a full touring show.

The Great Indian Rock 2008 Brings On the Bands with Harman

BANGALORE, India — The Palace Grounds in Bangalore, India were transformed into a celebration for thousands who turned out for “The Great Indian Rock 2008.” Bangalore transcended into the Rock Capital of India with an international concert that featured three prominent Indian bands, Slingshot, Rainbow Bridge and Extinct Reflections and two Norwegian popular acts, Sahg and Satryicon. V&P Sound deployed a Harman sound system that featured Soundcraft’s Vi6 and included products from JBL, Crown, dbx and AKG.

Omniline Array Arrives in London’s Kingly Club

LONDON – The first UK installation of the new OmniLine Micro Line Array from Martin Audio has been installed in the new three-story, glass-fronted Kingly Club in London’s Covent Garden. The scalable system was specified by Bernard Mani, head of London integration company, Systems Etc, after witnessing its launch at PLASA 2007 and seeing it immediately adopted in America for Star Trek The Tour — billed as “the largest interactive Star Trek exhibit ever.”
