LONDON — Midas has supplied a PRO6 live audio system to the BRIT Performing Arts & Technology School in Croydon, South London. The PRO6 was purchased as part of an upgrade to the main performance space, which hosts gigs, contemporary dance, theater, musical theater, art exhibitions and awards evenings. It will also be used for mini tours around the country.

DURHAM, U.K. — Sting recently performed two concerts at the Durham Cathedral in northeast England, including songs from his upcoming album, If On a Winter’s Night… Sting recorded the performances live for DVD release and audio supplier Audio-Rent Clair provided the sound system for the event, which included a Studer Vista 5 SR digital console for FOH mixing.

UTRECHT, The Netherlands — Dutch distributor Heuff recently purchased a Proel Axiom Array System to promote the Proel brand in the Netherlands. It has been used at events including Roffest Utrecht.

TOKYO — For the 2,150-seat theater built for Cirque du Soleil’s ZED at Tokyo Disney Resort, sound designers François Bergeron and Vikram Kirby are using Meyer Sound’s Constellation electroacoustic architecture to invite guests into a world of imagination.

SUWON, South Korea — The Suwon Outdoor Concert Hall (SOCH) was recently equipped with an Adamson sound system for its amphitheatre’s seated area by Kim Jin Yong, design team manager for Sound Solution, Adamson’s Korean distributor.
