LONDON – The Cinematic Orchestra performed a large-scale concert at London's Royal Albert Hall with the London Metropolitan Orchestra making use of Soundcraft Vi6 and Vi1 consoles at front of house and a Soundcraft Vi4 for the monitor mix.

MOSCOW – Euroshow equipped the live performance venue formerly known as B1 Maximum, which recently re-opened after a major refurbishment as A2, with JBL VerTec line arrays sold through Harman Professional distributors A&T Trade.

LONDON – With a full television crew recording his every move and "meet and greet" packages at every show, singer/songwriter/showman Peter André's big arena tour in December was not about to make life easy for the production company.

BERGAMO, Italy – Sound Services by Angelo Pelliccioli provided D.A.S. gear to upgrade the sound reinforcement at the 24,726-seat Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia, home stadium for the Atalanta and Albinoleffe soccer teams. The stadium, which opened to the public in 1928, encompasses a field that is 120 meters long and 70 meters wide with grandstand seating that is only partially covered.

OSLO – After a 28-year career, Norwegian trio A-ha have decided to split. For their farewell tour, Capital Sound provided two DiGiCo consoles and a full complement of Sennheiser microphones and in-ear monitoring systems.

HAMBURG, Germany – PRG Germany is supporting a touring replica of Abba's 1979 performance at London's Wembley Arena called ABBA – The Concert performed by AbbAgain. The tour features more than a dozen musicians and 150 minutes of Abba songs, and to distribute audio at the various tour locations, the show is using a RockNet digital audio network from Riedel Communications.

DENVER and VERONA, Italy – Dowlen Sound Inc. and Britannia Row Productions put the new Outline GTO large format line array through its paces, respectively, at the Mile High Music Festival and with the final leg of Peter Gabriel's New Blood tour in Europe.

LONDON – For Paul Weller's recent tour across the U.K. and Ireland, Andrew Jones, Weller's FOH engineer, and tech support Mike Savage used a Midas XL8 FOH supplied by Canegreen/SSE.
