LONDON – R&B star Jason Derulo has completed a string of U.K. dates as part of his debut world tour, accompanied by a Midas PRO6 at front of house.

BERLIN – The Berghain dance club recently wrapped up its first year of operation with a Meyer Sound JM-1P arrayable loudspeaker system in its Panorama Bar. Installed by Schalldruck of Berlin, the sound system for the relatively intimate (13 by 4.4 meter) Panorama Bar features a pair of JM-1P loudspeakers in each corner of the dance floor.

PERTH, Australia – The C3 church in Hepburn Heights needed a sound system that delivered ample coverage while averting noise issues with neighbors. The church opted for an Adamson Metrix system offered by CMI Music and Audio Pty Ltd, in conjunction with Perth-based installation company 3 Monkeys.

LONDON – Pressure Wave Audio provides a DiGiCo SD9 for Southwark Playhouse's production of the Stephen Sondheim classic, Company. Pressure Wave's Andrew Johnson said the SD9 proved a good fit, and not only in terms of its compact size.

AMSTERDAM – Soldier of Orange, a musical adaptation of the 1977 Dutch film, Soldaat van Oranje, is a moving experience for the audience – in more ways than one. For starters, the entire audience – more 1,100 people – revolve around the stage on a turntable that measures 33 meters across, making 30 stops during each performance.

LONDON, U.K. – Entec's sound department has completed a d&b sound installation at Stationers Hall, a grade one-listed building near St. Paul's Cathedral. The main hall is equipped with four d&b E8 loudspeakers. In the nearby Court Room, there are two more E8s, and for the Stock Room, two d&b E0s.

ASKIM, Norway – Rainbow Events AS, a Norwegian production company that coordinates concert tours for major national and international artists, recently added a Soundcraft Vi1 digital mixing console to its inventory.

NICOSIA, Cyprus – Prosonic audio lights LTD, which recently installed a new Adamson system in the recently-built  in the Latsia industrial area, led a two-day workshop at the venue, giving new and existing customers the chance to talk directly with the manufacturers.

LONDON – More than 20 years of touring with such diverse acts as Rage Against The Machine, Maroon 5, Cypress Hill and Weird Al Yankovic has prepared FOH engineer Joel Lonky for a wide range of performance issues, but few are as chaotic as his current gig mixing FOH for Rob Zombie. "The show is unpredictable," he said. "I don't have the luxury of knowing what will happen next, so I needed a console that would allow me to stay on top of any situation that might arise. The PRO6 turned out to be the ideal solution."

STAVANGER, Norway – The Norwegian Sørmarka Arena, a multi-use indoor facility with an ice rink for hockey, curling and figure skating and a 400m speed skating track, was recently equipped with a Community sound system designed and programmed by Norsk Lydteknikk AS. with installation by Profitek AS.

CHATILLON-SUR-INDRE, France – French President Nicolas Sarkozy addressed more than 1,000 health workers in the gymnasium of the local hospital here Jan. 20, and SLJ Sonorisation, Eclairage, Vidéo provided audio support, including the Soundcraft Vi1 Digital Console used for the occasion.
