Beirut Nightclub Installs Turbosound Gear

BEIRUT, Lebanan — Turbosound partner Thunder Electronics installed a new sound system for Ora, a lounge bar located on the city’s Dbayeh Seaside Highway. The setup includes eight TCX-8 passive two-way loudspeakers, two TCX-15 passive two-ways, and a TXD-215 twin 15” subwoofer, according to Thunder Electronics’ Louay Agha.

LONDON — The Arts Club, a members-only venue that dates back to 1863, installed Allen & Heath iLive on the recommendation of visiting sound engineer Dave McDonald. Resident house tech Jonathan Lewis had not been familiar with the digital mixing system, but has been won over by it. It’s used along with L-Acoustics speakers at FOH and monitors and Sennheiser IEMs within the small venue.

Nanjing Nightclub Turns Up the Volume with Adamson Gear

NANJING, China — Real Music Acoustic & Lighting Technology Co. Ltd., the exclusive distributor for Adamson Products in China, Hong Kong and Macao, handled the design and installation of the new sound system at Club ENZO. The setup includes 16 M212 and 42 Point 15-P (passive) speakers hanging above the dance floors and lounge area. For the low end, there are 32 flown Point 215 subs, with six 6000W T21 subs placed strategically around the venue.
