ANSAN, South Korea — Soundenergy’s Giwook Cha worked with Sunbeom Kim of Soundus, K-array’s Korean distributor, on an audio system upgrade for Do-ha Methodist church here that included a K-array BlueLine KB1 speaker system. Soundenergy also steered the Noryangin church in Bon-dong, South Korea toward K-array gear — in this case, K-array’s Kobra KK102 (pictured here). Both church systems were chosen for sound quality as well as their ability to blend in visually with each church’s interior design.

MUNICH, Germany – International reggae star Sean Paul recently completed a 10-show blitz through Germany with an Adamson Energia E15 line array system provided by Cobra sound light. The Hamburg, Germany-based sound company credited its recently-added Energia E15 PA system for its sound quality, scalability and ease of rigging.

LIVERPOOL, U.K. – Adlib supplied an L-Acoustics KIVA system for Newcastle, U.K.-based R&B Group. The gear package includes 18 L-Acoustics KIVA WST enclosures, six L-Acoustics 8XT speakers, four L-Acoustics SB15m subs, eight SB18 subs, flying frames and a stacking system, along with six L-Acoustics LA8 amplifiers and a Soundcraft Vi1 console for control.

HANOI, Vietnam – For Hanoi International Fellowship (HIF)’s 200-plus capacity sanctuary here, Singapore-based Soundsmith Solutions Pte. Ltd. designed a new system using Danley Sound Labs SM-80 and SH-micro loudspeakers and TH-mini subwoofers. The gear was chosen in part for its promise in meeting the facility’s challenging requirements for pattern control.

BANGOR, Australia — Ian “Woody” Woodhouse, a veteran of Australia’s pro audio industry who had spent the last seven years with Technical Audio Group (TAG), died July 12 after a long battle with cancer.
