CORNWALL, U.K. – For Frank Ocean’s recent European tour, engineer Dave McDonald supported the singer’s shows using an Allen & Heath iLive digital system at FOH. The setup included an iLive-112 control surface with 8 in, 24 out, RAB2 ACE, connected to a modular iDR10 MixRack with 56 in, 24 out, RAB2 ACE and Dante. The crew also used an analog split between the iLive and monitor console.

QUEENSLAND, Australia – Salt House is a unique dining, bar, and entertainment venue situated at Marina Point here. Fintan Rafferty and Luis Garozzo, owners and managers of Salt House recently decided to replace the existing sound system in the main Bar and Outdoor Deck Bar. It was at this stage that the experience of Mick Evans from Talk to the Mac was enlisted. Britannia Row’s Live Sound Training Course Welcomes International Applicants

LONDON, UK – After conducting an inspection of Britannia Row Productions Training prior to its opening, the British Accreditation Council for Independent Further and High Education (BAC) approved the training center as a Short Course Provider. This status authorizes applicants for the Live Sound Technology course from outside the EU/EEA to also apply for a Student Visitor Visa so they can attend the London-based facility’s training program.

WEE WAA, Australia – To celebrate the release of their latest album, Random Access Memories, Daft Punk planned a performance at a venerable but somewhat obscure three-day farming event in this remote cotton-growing community situated some 350 miles from Sydney. U.K. Tour Manager, Engineer Rely on Soundcraft Technologies for European Tours

LONDON, UK – Tour manager Tim Boardman and sound engineer Bryony October have been providing smaller-scale tours for Moya and other artists in Europe with big-production sound with Soundcraft Si Performer 3 and Si Expression consoles.
