Rostov Cathedral Restoration Includes K-array Gear

ROSTOV, Russia – For a restoration of the Rostov Cathedral, MixArt worked with sound designer Oleg Sherbakov on a sound system upgrade that included the use of K-array gear. K-array was informed of some of the details of that development at its GDM (Global Distributor Meeting) held in Tuscany, Italy and shared the news in a press release.

Live Performances for India’s Coke Studio at MTV Mixed on Soundcraft Vi6

MUMBAI, India – Coke Studio India, a.k.a. Coke Studio@MTV, features live performances of Indian music in an hour-long TV show format. Among the six songs usually featured are a wide range of musical stylings, from Carnatic and Hindustani compositions to recreated Bollywood tracks and original music composed just for the show. Grammy winning engineer Stephen Fitzmaurice, who has also worked with Seal, U2 and others, mixes on a Soundcraft Vi6 console and uses a Soundcraft Vi1 as a sub-mixer for larger acts. Flying Carpet Productions, Sound.com and Harman also provided JBL LSR 4328s and other Harman gear for mixing and for monitoring during recording.
