ULSAN, South Korea – Allen & Heath’s GLD digital mixing system, ME-1 personal monitor mixer and Qu-16 compact digital mixer were recently installed in a new building at Ulsan Galilee Church here. Director Joon-ho Choi of Daiyoung Sound selected the system based on its capability and flexibility to manage small or large events.
CALTANISSETTA, Italy – To optimize the sound within an Assembly Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses here, Exhibo installed a K-array KR402 system. Massimiliano De Angelis, Exhibo’s acoustic consultant, credited the system for “allowing us to bring down the reverberation time by more than 6 seconds of T60, in under 1.5 seconds at each point of the room, gallery and platea included, avoiding any acoustic phenomenon of regeneration reactive.”

VIENNA – As part of the full refurbishment of the Kammerspiele Vienna, Salzbrenner Stagetec installed a portable Polaris touch console. The console operates in combination with a CAS Mix which has been in operation at the Viennese theatre for the past ten years. One of the first productions to make use of the console was a staged production of the musical, Catch Me If You Can (pictured here).
SINGAPORE — MediaCorp TV Theatre has taken delivery of a new Aviom A360 personal mixing system from Coda Group Pte Ltd, the regional distributor for Aviom. The system includes eight A360 Personal Mixers, one AN-16/i-M Mic Input Module, one AN-16/o v.4 Output Module, and a D800 A-Net Distributor that distributes both power and audio to the personal mixers.
