Chinese Music Reality Show Installs JBL VTX for Studio Audience

BEIJING — Music reality show Sing My Song, aired by CCTV3, installed Harman’s JBL VTX V25 line array loudspeakers for the benefit of the 300-capacity studio audience. The system includes 10 JBL VTX V25 fullsize line array loudspeakers each that are suspended and cover three sides of the stage. Beneath the stage are three groups of four JBL VTX S28 subwoofers each. The speakers are managed via JBL VTX LAC (Line Array Calculator) Software.

LOMIANKI, Poland – Harman Soundcraft’s Polish distributor ESS Audio has fulfilled the first of its first batch of orders for the new Soundcraft Vi3000.The first two companies to take delivery are W Sound from Szczecin, run by Mariusz Węgiełek, and Modussound of Sieraków Śląski, headed by Artur and Lukasz Kedzia. Both confirm they already have the consoles out on tour.

German Theater Installs Salzbrenner Stagetec Mediagroup Stage Management System

ERLANGEN, Germany — The Markgrafentheater here has installed a stage management system from the Salzbrenner Stagetec Mediagroup as part of a recent equipment upgrade. New components include a PerformanCeTRL controller and a DELEC CS 1624 intercom matrix from the company’s oratis compact range. The systems were installed within three months. They are currently being used to support the Bayerische Theatertage festival, which runs from May 16-31.

PRETORIA, South Africa — For a new 6,500-seat CRC Christian Church here, Pastor AT Boshoff and his team turned to an engineer in the U.S., Armando Fullwood of Waves, for audio console advice. They followed is recommendation and are now using DiGiCo consoles provided by local distributor Tadco, including an SD Ten at FOH and a pair of SD8s — one at monitors and the other for the church’s broadcast studio.
