Void Acoustics Supports Red Bull Culture Clash in London

LONDON – British loudspeaker manufacturer Void Acoustics will be supporting the Red Bull Culture Clash in London by collaborating with London grime crew Boy Better Know. Red Bull describes the event as “a live music experience which has taken place in the UK three times before. The show includes four stages, each featuring a different crew representing different genres. These crews battle for the title of Red Bull Culture Clash winner.” The Oct. 30 finale follows similar events held in Leeds, Birmingham and Bristol, U.K. earlier in October.

ABU DHABI, UAE – The Blue Marlin Ibiza beach club here was looking for a sound system that would live up to expectations for an Ibiza-like club experience. The club recently upgraded with a new EAW system featuring KF740 line arrays and SB1002 subwoofers. A rectangular trussing system defines the performance stage with four line arrays – each made up of four KF740 enclosures – hung from each corner of the structure, firing outward.

German Horse Farm Caps 500th Year Celebrations with Alcons-Supported Event

BADEN-WÜRTTEMBERG, Germany – An Alcons Audio LR24 pro-ribbon line-array system was used at this year’s Marbach Classics Open Air event, which capped a year of celebrations during the farm’s 500th year. Close to 7,500 spectators came to see the Ross ballet, involving 90 horses from across Europe, and the 60-piece Württemberg Philharmonic orchestra of Reutlingen performed.

Ed Sheeran Touring with Major Tom-supplied Meyer LYON System

LONDON – Major Tom Ltd. is providing a Meyer Sound LYON system to support Ed Sheeran’s one-man shows. The setup varies, with larger shows using front hangs of 12 LEO-M over four LYON linear line array loudspeakers each, with 14 additional LYON loudspeakers in each of the twin side hangs. Completing the system are 18 1100-LFC low-frequency control elements for low end and eight M’elodie line array loudspeakers for front fill. A Galileo Callisto loudspeaker management system with one Galileo Callisto 616 AES and four Galileo Callisto 616 array processors provide system drive and alignment. K-Array Delay System Deployed In Denmark

AARHUS, Denmark – A custom delay system comprised of K-array speakers was installed in the new offices for Krifa, a trade union, which relocated here recently from Randers, Denmark. The speakers are installed within a large meeting room in the new facility. Jan Juul Hansen, from MAVT DK distributor of K-array managed the audio setup for the space.

Audinate and Bose Team Up on Dante AV Networking Roadshow Events in Dubai

DUBAI, UAE – Bose Professional and Audinate will launch their AV Networking Roadshow at InfoComm MEA here. The one-day session, “Introduction to AV Networking,” is being offered on Oct. 15, and repeating on Oct. 16. Each runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Along with Bose Professional and Audinate, the sessions are supported by Atterotech, Digital Audio Labs and Yamaha.
