Read More »LUTON, UK – Singer / songwriter Paul Carrack has purchased a Cadac LIVE1 1642 compact console to serve as a new submixer for his keyboard rig. Carrack, who embarked earlier this year on a 55 date tour around the U.K. with his band, recently upgraded his keyboards, including sonic modifications to his Hammond C3, and needed to trade up his mixer to match. His monitor engineer Anton Dunbar was the man charged with finding the new console.

This investment plan was executed over two years to improve the use of space, functionality and to enhance the overall student experience at the Guild & Reilly Building at the campus core.
Read More »PORTO, Portugal – NEXT-proaudio provided sound reinforcement for two concert setups for three performances in Portugal by the British band James. Promoted by PEV Entertainment and in support of the band’s La Petite Mort album, two of the three shows were staged in northern Portugal with NEXT-proaudio’s sound reinforcement. The first of those two shows took place at the São Bento railway station in Porto; it was offered by the band as a surprise to its fans and it was a free event. The band noted that they played “a couple of tunes and answered some questions of the public.”

The finals for performers aged 10-15 was held in Malta on Nov. 15. The audio setup included Electro-Voice gear provided by Attard-based Besteam-Audio and MKA.

In the meantime, its recent production of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, was staged in Manchester’s historic Victorian swimming baths. This performance was also the maiden voyage for HOME’s new Solid State Logic Live. L500 console.
