HEBDEN BRIDGE, U.K. — Calrec Audio today announced two new developments in the company’s product range. The first is a 4U console core with a new look. Benefiting from significant hardware improvements, the core is used for the Summa and Artemis Light consoles. Calrec will also display a new single-slot modular MADI card with SRC.

Mackie’s DL32R wirelessly controlled digital live sound mixer has a new networked audio option – the DL Dante Expansion Card. The enhancement is the result of a collaboration between Mackie, which makes audio mixers, loudspeakers, studio monitors and recording equipment, and Audinate, the developers of Dante.

The 2-way RBN 110 and RBN 112 full-range cabinets combine Peavey’s ribbon driver with either 10- or 12-inch neodymium Scorpion woofers with Peavey’s exclusive field replaceable basket technology. Matching 15- and 18-inch subs offer 2,000 watts of onboard powering and response down to 36 Hz.

Waves Tracks Live is a multitrack recording software solution created with and for live sound engineers. The software is designed to capture live performances of any kind, from the smallest gig to the largest production. Tracks Live is also designed to enable easy switching between stereo out and multi out modes, letting users toggle back and forth between recording and virtual soundcheck with the click of a button. The automatic multichannel re-routing engine also adapts to any changes users make on the fly, making it easier to set up big shows with hundreds of tracks.

Audio-Technica noted that its ATND971 Dante-enabled cardioid condenser boundary microphone and the ATND8677 Dante-enabled microphone desk stand (pictured here) are both compatible with Symetrix SymNet Composer 3.0 open-architecture design software.

Soundcraft’s Ui Series of remote-controlled digital mixers give users the ability to mix audio from any Wi-Fi connected device in any location. The Ui12 (pictured here) and Ui16 (pictured below) each feature an integrated, onboard Wi-Fi router and can be controlled via a tablet, PC or smartphone.

ANAHEIM, CA – Sensaphonics’ 3D-ME is designed for the hearing impaired. The “ME” stands for Music Enhancement. 3D-ME is based on the Active Ambient technology that the company uses for its 3D AARO in-ear monitor system.
