FRANKFURT, Germany – Harman’s Soundcraft and Shure recently announced a new collaboration that enables native monitoring and control of select Shure wireless systems on Soundcraft Vi Series digital console. The initial implementation was featured at Prolight + Sound, where the new Soundcraft Vi5000 (pictured here) and Vi7000 Digital Mixing Consoles support Shure’s ULX-D and QLX-D Digital Wireless Systems.

Harman’s JBL Professional released Version 5 preset support for the VerTec DrivePack DP-DA input module for all full-size, midsize and compact powered VerTec models (VT4889ADP-DA, VT4888DP-DA, VT4887ADP-DA) and subwoofers (VT4880ADP-DA, VT4882DP-DA, VT4881ADP-DA).

OXFORD, ENGLAND — Solid State Logic noted a significant boost in the functionality of its SSL Live console series with the company’s new L500 Plus model. The company noted that the SSL Live L500 Plus will be powered by its new V3 software release. SSL Live V3 is due for public release in May 2015 and will become standard on all new consoles, the company added.
