Loudspeaker manufacturer RCF introduces the GS60 weatherproof speaker, an IP-56 rated outdoor sound system suitable for gardens, patios, pool areas and other public spaces. The cabinet is made of a low-density polyethylene designed to protect the transducer from the elements and built to withstand extreme temperatures and harsh weather conditions. The design also protects the components from rain, snow, dust and dirt with the ability to remain installed year-round. The speaker is housed in a UV-rated green molded shell which blends into garden architecture.

K-array introduces Domino, a new full-range speaker line, consisting of three speakers: the KF26 (the smallest of the trio), the KF210 and the KF212 (the largest). These compact speakers with plug and play capabilities do not require presets and can be driven by any amplifier, offering an audio solution for intimate restaurants to live concert settings. Domino is available in a 24K gold-plated finish as well as brushed or polished stainless steel finishes, along with the standard black and white, allowing them to blend into most environments.

Altinex, amanufacturer of signal management solutions, introduces the TP315-103 Anywire transmitter and TP315-104 Anywire receiver. An expansion of the company’s Anywire product line, the new TP315-103 and TP315-104 facilitate the transmission of live video and computer video signals with synchronized audio over long distances using conventional AC power extension cords, which can readily be purchased at any hardware store. This new video transmission system is ideally suited for temporary digital signage applications and use low cost power extension cables to provide both power and video signal to a display.

LynTec has added over new voltage monitoring and automatic shutoff to its RPC and RPCR series power control panels. The feature simplifies power management and protects digital audio investments. From the controller’s embedded web server, the user can select the appropriate protection from a simple drop-down menu on the setup page for each circuit. This allows users to customize the power protection settings for the devices connected to the panel, specifying over-voltage protection for the equipment that needs it most.

Allen & Heath has announced support of the AES67 standard through the most recent version of its M-Dante audio networking card, which provides a 64×64 interface to Audinate Dante networks, and is one of several options that can be installed in a GLD, dLive, ME and iLive digital mixing system. AES67 is an interoperability standard created by the Audio Engineering Society, which specifies a common set of protocols to enable audio transport between different Audio-over-IP platforms.

Shure Inc. has updated ShurePlus Channels App to v1.3, incorporating new features that increase users’ ability to monitor, organize and access key channel parameters with more convenience and power. This update provides users with an array of features to enhance the user interface and channel monitoring experience. It’s supported on Apple mobile devices running iOS 8 and later, and is compatible with the Axient Wireless Management Network, UHF-R Wireless System, ULX-D Digital Wireless System, QLX-D Digital Wireless System, and PSM1000 Personal Monitor System.

Stage Tec is presenting its versatile routing system Nexus at the ISE show for the first time. Nexus distributes and converts audio and non-audio signals, and is operated via a GUI. All major audio formats such as Dante and MADI are supported. Nexus can also handle virtually any external control task such as lighting controls.

L-Acoustics is today lauching Syva, a new format, high power speaker system featuring six medium-frequency and three high-frequency speakers in a sleek J-shaped progressive curvature format. The groundbreaking transducer arrangement, called segment source (patent pending), produces an H/V 140° x 26° (+5/-21°) directivity pattern that is optimized for exceptional surface coverage and 115 feet (35m) of throw.

To coincide with the launch of dLive C Class, Allen & Heath has released a major firmware update to all dLive mixers, further enhancing the functionality and processing capabilities of the system, plus a package of warranty and service upgrades to customers of its flagship dLive S Class.

At NAMM 2017, Cerwin Vega launched three new powered speaker lines for small to large audio needs: CVE, CVX and CVXL. The CVE group of four powered speakers represents the line’s most compact systems. The CVX is a more powerful, medium-sized line, also with four powered speakers and a subwoofer. The CVXL, for larger applications requiring more output, comprises five powered speakers: single 12”, 15”, or dual 15” tops, and single 18” or dual 21” subwoofer.

Kaltman Creations launches the RF-Compass, an automated antenna tracker system for wireless microphones and IEM equipment. Kristin Kaltman says, “Equipping your directional antennas with the ability to pan and rotate to track your performers’ movements just makes sense; it eliminates the ‘wireless risk’ without eliminating your wireless altogether. It is as close to hard wired as wireless can get!”

dB Technologies’ new Opera series features three completely redesigned 10”, 12”, and 15” loudspeaker cabinets with 1200 W peak power. Opera’s asymmetrical horn has been completely redesigned to obtain both an asymmetrical vertical dispersion and a double horizontal dispersion, ensuring an optimized throw pattern. The speaker series is adaptable to both playback and live music applications.
