RCF is now shipping its ART3 MK4 speakers. Designed with a new series of performance-enhancing transducers, the ART3 MK4 models also include FiRPHASE processing. The company says these speakers are designed to further advance RCF’s concept of providing a two-way loudspeaker in a composite cabinet. The Qbox is an all-in-one audio line tester ideal for live sound applications or to test your comms lines. It includes a microphone, a speaker, a test tone generator, outputs for standard headphones, a 1/4″ jack for line-in or a 2K Ohm (telephone) earpiece out. It comes with a clip to attach to a belt or equipment rack. The Qbox can quick-check dynamic mics and cables without firing up the entire system. The user can simply listen to audio at any point in their system from the mics to the power amps to quickly confirm which sections are working and which ones aren’t.

QSC, LLC, is pleased to announce the AcousticDesign™ Series AD-C4T and AD-C6T ceiling-mount loudspeakers are now EN 54-24 type A compliant. This European standard specifies strict requirements, test methods and performance criteria for loudspeakers intended to broadcast a voice alarm warning as part of a fire detection and fire alarm system. Both loudspeakers are specified for indoor use.

Powersoft has released v2.10 of its Armonia Pro Audio Suite software. It includes a new interactive tuning feature designed to improve the process of measuring and aligning a sound system while also enabling users to work without noise in the immediate surrounding environment. Armonia v2.10 is now fully integrated with Rational Acoustic Smaart v8, which can read real-time, imported or shared location traces (smart, txt, csv, xml).
