Whirlwind’s PLR-MC21 and PLR-MC22 (pictured here) control three-phase chain motors. Each will operate one or two motors in a 2RU package, with all controls and connections accessible on the front panel. The PLR-MC21 has 10-amp circuit breaker protection and is designed for use with one-ton and smaller motors. The PLR-MC22 has 20-amp circuit breaker protection and is designed for use with two-ton motors. Both have individual up and down selectors for each motor and a master GO button. A phase reverse circuit is also provided to correct motor direction. Three phase input connectors can be selected to coordinate with existing power distros.

Yorkville Sound added two new products to its elite series, the ES12P and EF10P. The ES12P, building on the company’s launch, earlier this year, of its next-gen elite subwoofers, is a 12-inch based subwoofer that dials up the watts to produce an impressive amount of low-end output. The EF10P (pictured here) is a 10-inch 600watt powered loudspeaker with 1.5-inch titanium diaphragm. Together this combo promises high fidelity in a portable package. The EF10P and EF12P can also pair with a free Bluetooth enabled App available on both iOS and Android devices, to help users fine-tune the EQ and limiter settings. These new additions join the EF12P, EF15P, ES15P and ES18P, featuring significant upgrades, delivering maximum performance while maintaining a portable profile.

Powersoft has announced a brand new app for mobile devices, called Snapshot Selector. The free and easy-to-use app, now compatible with Android devices, allows users of Powersoft’s X Series amplifier platforms to instantaneously recall a full slate of saved settings by simply connecting their phone to their amplifier with a USB cable. The app makes the X Series amplifier platforms an even more appealing solution for audio professionals, including in rental environments.
