Lectrosonics has added SMV and SMQV transmitters to its Super Miniature product line. The units feature Lectrosonics’ Digital Hybrid Wireless technology from their 400 Series product group.

MCAT5 is designed to simplify network cabling by eliminating individual cable runs; reducing the wear and tear on equipment by utilizing a sturdy multipin connector instead of the standard RJ45 connector and creating a rugged point-to-point secure connection.

Hosa Technology’s two new microphone clips — the MHR-422 and MHR-425 — are designed to deliver years of service. They measure 22 mm and 25 mm diameters respectively, to accept most microphones currently available.

Onyx-i Series FireWire Recording Mixers combine the benefits of a computer interface with the hands-on control of an analog mixer. Qualified by Mackie for use with all major DAWs including Pro Tools M-Powered 8, the Onyx-i Series opens up new options for anyone interested in computer recording.

Stage Research’s RF Guru is a tool for finding the optimum combination of wireless microphone frequencies to be used at a venue and alleviate intermod (i.e., interference) problems.  It calculates based on existing microphones, area TV stations, user-entered known bad frequencies and mic data from nearby neighboring venues.

Lawo’s Version 4.6 software release for the company’s mc² Series production consoles streamlines workflow with a Dynamic Automation enhancement, including Trim and TC-Editing features, and a new Offline preparation and Online assistance tool. Lawo will feature Version 4.6 at AES Booth #637.

Wharfedale Pro’s next generation of the EVP line of loudspeakers, the lighter-weight EVP-NEO series, builds on the sound quality of the EXP-X. Seven models are available in the range: the EVP-12M NEO and EVP-15M NEO are low profile stage monitors with the EVP-12NEO, EVP-15NEO and EVP-215NEO completing the full lineup. The EVP-18SUB and EVP-15SUB subwoofers, meanwhile, provide low end reinforcement.

VMB’s TL-A220 Line Array lifter, a smaller, more compact version of their TL-A320, can still lift 220kg of P.A. gear to a height of 5.5 meters. The lift is specifically designed for lifting line arrays and is well-suited for quick line array setups.

L-Acoustics’ new 8XTi and 12XTi coaxial enclosures, primarily for the fixed installation market, share the electro-acoustic design of the established XT series. The 8XTi and 12XTi have cabinetry and rigging that can be color-matched according to architect specifications.

Blue Microphones, which has a track record in professional and studio recording, has launched the enCORE series for the live events market. The enCORE 100, 200 and 300 models are designed and priced for any live application from the rehearsal space and coffee shop to the auditorium and stadium.

Electro-Voice released LAPS V2.2A; this new version of LAPS, the Electro-Voice line array modeling and design program, is available for free download from the EV Web site.

A new swivel bracket extends the flexibility of Alcons LR7 micro pro-ribbon line-array system. With its new swivel yoke, up to five LR7 cabinets in stand-configuration and up to seven LR7 cabinets in flown configuration can be stand- or truss-mounted with the new BRK5LR7 unit.
