Lectrosonics' Aspen line of DSP matrix audio processors, now shipping, includes the SPN1624 matrix mixer, the SPN16i input-only module and the SPNConference telephone hybrid unit for teleconferencing. Features include TCP/IP control over Ethernet, unlimited input expandability, real-time clock, 48-channel matrix bus, 1 Gbps expansion port and 48-Volt phantom powering for all inputs.

EAW recently announced two new subs-one passive and one powered. The SB2001 Subwoofer, pictured here, which goes beyond the company's SB1001 with a dual 21-inch cone driver, provides more than double the volume of air displaced without a significant increase in size.

The Radial PowerPre microphone preamplifier fits inside a standard API style lunchbox frame. Its differential design and discreet components deliver up to 60dB of gain with low noise. The simplicity of the design is reminiscent of vintage equipment, and it avoids zero-cross distortion and other limitations imposed by off-the-shelf op-amps.

The Mackie SRM1801 Powered Subwoofer delivers 1000 watts of Class-D power in a lightweight portable design. The 18-inch woofer is designed to deliver high output, and active electronics include a precision crossover and tuning filters for accurate bass response.

Allen & Heath's iDR-64 adds a larger -format fixed I/O MixRack to the iLive digital mixer family, providing a high I/O capacity and a lower cost alternative to the modular iDR10 MixRack.

Audient's eight channel ASP2802 console, launched at MusikMesse 2010 in Frankfurt, combines analog features with DAW integration and control and includes Audient's Dual Layer Technology.

Ashly Audio's pêma (Protea Equipped Media Amplifier), a powered processor that will be featured at InfoComm 2010 (Booth #C6659), combines Ashly's DSP functionality with the company's amplifier functionality inside a two-rack space unit.

Powersoft's M Series consists of five new models including two 4-channel and three 2-channel versions. M Series amplifiers come in a one rack unit chassis, measure 14.1 inches in depth and weigh just over 16 lbs. All M Series models feature Powersoft's own combination of switch mode power supply and PWM output stages.

EAW's NTS250 Powered Subwoofer, which can serve as a companion subwoofer for any EAW system (and those of several competitors), is ideally suited in conjunction with the NTL720 compact line array, for use with sound reinforcement or fixed installation for corporate A/V, clubs, ballrooms, theaters, performing arts centers and houses of worship.

Riedel Communications' Artist 1100 Series OLED control panel expands on Riedel's integrated displays in the panel keys with high-res color OLEDs. With 65,000 colors and a resolution of 140 dpi, the new displays improve legibility, particularly for Asian characters and logos, with up to eight 24×24 pixel images that can be displayed.

Bartlett Microphones' TM-125HP is the high performance version of the company's TM-125 boundary mic. While the TM-125 is for sound reinforcement of actors in drama or musicals, the TM-125HP is for recording or broadcasting opera, drama, musicals, solo recitals, sound effects, and small classical music ensembles.

Although badged up as the ZED24, Allen & Heath plans on renaming its new work-in-progress console the GSR24, as it's so much bigger than any of the other consoles in the ZED range. A&H previewed the GSR4 in Frankfurt at Musikmesse/Prolight+ Sound 2010.
