JHAudio is marketing its custom-fit IEMs as an alternative to off-the-shelf ear buds for musicians, audiophiles and other music lovers listening to music stored on iPods and MP3 players, even touting its JH|5 PRO custom-fit IEMs (MSRP: $399) as "the perfect gift for the music lover, audiophile or gadget geek in your life."

Powersoft's version 2.1.707 upgrade of its Armonía Pro Audio Suite software includes the new I/O Signal Integrity Monitor feature. Armonía was designed to control all aspects of the amplifier/speaker audio chain to the audio engineer. The I/O Signal Integrity Monitor extends this control by providing information on input signal irregularities, providing one more tool for engineers setting up Powersoft K Series, M Series with DSP+ETH, Duecanali, Q Series and D Series amplifiers.

1602Group TiMax's new iPad and iPhone apps are designed to control the TiMax2 SoundHub mix matrix, playback server and audio show control system. Factory-default setups are user-configurable, and a custom programming service provides GUIs tailored to individual needs.

Symetrix, makers of SymNet 8×8 DSP and Jupiter processors, is targeting its new Solus at small to mid-size installations. With SymNet Designer software, integrators can use or modify the dozens of existing Solus templates or build new designs from scratch. Currently, there are two Solus hardware units: Solus 4, with four mic/line (+phantom) inputs and four outputs; and Solus 8, with eight mic/line (+phantom) inputs and eight outputs.

WorxAudio Technologies' TrueLine V5M (non-powered) and V5M-P (powered) ultra-compact fill / monitor systems, which measure 18 by 13 by 6.8 inches, are well-suited for use in front fill, near fill, under-balcony and choir monitor applications. They have a 120-degree symmetrical horizontal coverage pattern and a 30-degree vertical dispersion pattern.

Roland Systems Group (RSG) has released software updates for the company's Digital Mixing Consoles – M-400, M-380 and M-300 V-Mixers. Among other changes, project files are now compatible and between the different V-Mixer models – including the new M-480 V-Mixer.

Waves' SoundGrid Compact System for Yamaha consoles includes everything Yamaha users need to process their live performances using Waves plugins, as well as the tools to capture their performances into a DAW.

dbTechnologies calls the DVA T12 a step up from the DVA T4 line array system. It has more power and greater range than its predecessor, yet maintains the T4's active three-way design and ease of set-up. With new neodymium speakers and digital amps, the T12 offers a total 1,410W in output power. Together with DSP and AD-DA transformers, it promises high-definition sonic images and ample SPL for large sound reinforcement applications. The DVA T12 weighs in at 63.8 lbs, features an integrated RDnet port and is hardware compatible with DVA T4 systems.

Riedel Communications' MediorNet Compact promises the flexibility of a real-time media network, including integrated signal processing, at the cost of simple multiplexing point-to-point products. Its network bandwidth of 50 Gbit/s allows for bi-directional transport of 12 HD-SDI signals, dozens of MADI streams or GBit-Ethernet signals and hundreds of audio channels or intercom ports.
