Middle Atlantic Products’s HRF Series Half Rack family of products, which are designed to help develop an ECIA standard for the half-width rack format, offer users a low profile design and compact dimensions. An offset cable tie area keeps their overall width to 10 5/8”, which will help operators conserve rack space in confined areas. These dimensions also allow the HRF Series to be used with half rack equipment from a variety of manufacturers.

The PowerHOUSE Doghouse portable power distribution box from Lex Products has a compact, sturdy, portable and stackable design especially well-suited for use in convention centers for trade show displays, portable lights, audio equipment and light tools. The design allows for multiple boxes to be strung along one power feed to provide convenient 20 Amp duplex power.

QSC Audio Products’ Core 500i and Core 250i represent the next generation of the company’s Q-Sys products, providing centralized processing, routing and control for contractors and consultants needing a solution for smaller venues including restaurants, nightclubs, stores, schools and churches. Both are fully-integrated solutions, each with eight card slots onboard. The Core500i is capable of up to 128 network channels while the Core 250i provides up to 64 channels. I/O is selectable via the various Q-Sys I/O cards. Options also include the MTP-64, and MTP-128 multitrack players.

CAD Audio is introducing an updated version of its classic E300S Multi-Pattern Large Diaphragm Condenser Mic as part of the Equitek S Series at Winter NAMM 2012. Audix is adding the FP Quad drum mic pack to its Fusion series, positioned as a low-cost alternative to the DP Quad drum mic pack that Audix introduced in 2011. It includes the F6 dynamic microphone for kick drum, the F5 dynamic microphone for snare drum and two F9 condensers microphones for overhead applications.
