FRANKFURT, Germany – At  the opening of the Prolight + Sound conference in mid-April, L-Acoustics announced the launch of the X Series, a new line of coaxial speakers for the installation and rental markets. The three new enclosures in the X Series family—X8, X12 and X15—represent the most recent engineering innovations at L-Acoustics and directly benefit from the R&D that led to the launch of K2 last year.

FRANKFURT, Germany – Eastern Acoustic Works (EAW) introduced its Redline powered loudspeakers at Prolight + Sound 2015 in mid-April. The line includes two powered, two-way loudspeakers – the RL12 12-inch and RL15 15-inch – along with the RL18S 18-inch powered subwoofer.

TC Electronic featured the new Clarity X monitoring and metering system at NAB 2015 in mid-April.

RTS showcased its OMNEO-based keypanels at NAB 2015.

Radial Engineering’s Headload Prodigy combines a load box and DI, noting the unit’s ability to let users drive a guitar amp at a higher output in order to maximize the tone, while also producing a lower stage volume when needed.

Meyer Sound has announced the release of Compass Go By Meyer Sound, a new app that turns the iPad into a portable control device for optimizing Meyer Sound systems seamlessly and accurately. Compass Go By Meyer Sound is available for iOS 8 users and is available as a free download from the Apple App Store. Compass Go requires firmware version 3.6.0 in both Galileo and Galileo Callisto.

Martin Audio announced an upgrade to the Display software used for the company’s MLA Series speaker systems.
