Outline releases OpenArray2, the new version of its free simulation software. OpenArray2 predicts the results expected from either live performances or installations involving Outline’s wide range of loudspeaker systems (line arrays, subwoofers and point source systems), enabling users to cover every position in a listening space with even the most unusual configuration.

Rational Acoustics LLC announced today that future versions of their Smaart v8 and Di v2 software will add support for 10EaZy hardware as well as incorporate core features from 10EaZy SPL measurement software directly into the Smaart user interface. Merging the powerful, flexible measurement environment offered by Smaart with the straightforward turn-key SPL monitoring solution from 10EaZy will bring added functionality, efficiency and accuracy to both products.

Stage Tech is launching software release V5.28 for its Nexus audio systems, which means Nexus systems can now be upgraded to more than double the size possible previously. Until now, the number of Base Devices was capped at 31. The audio network can manage up to 64,000 I/Os. The software release will be available at the end of the second quarter.

Radial Engineering Ltd. is now shipping the LX-2 passive line splitter. The Radial LX-2 allows the user to easily send a single source to two different destinations at once without noise, with the ability to attenuate the input signal and tame hot outputs from a mixing console or mic preamp.

PreSonus announced that their next-generation StudioLive 32 digital mixer/recorder is now available. It features full console recall, 33 touch-sensitive motor faders, 33 recallable XMAX preamps and compressors, AVB networking, multi-track Capture recording to SD Card for integrated multitrack recording/virtual sound checking, 6-band, fully parametric EQ on all mix outputs and remote control via multiple iPads. The new Fat Channel implements a plug-in style workflow that features vintage-style EQ and compression options on every channel, from classic tube limiters to passive EQs. Also standard are 16 FlexMixes (auxes, subgroups or matrix mixes), four dedicated subgroups and 55×55 AVB interface.

FRANKFURT –  At Prolight + Sound 2017, d&b audiotechnik is launching several new products. The ArrayCalc Viewer app is a mobile interface providing all key information for positioning and flying a d&b loudspeaker system. Also new at the show is the R1 Array verification tool. Ahead of its May release, visitors can also see the new 6 x D80 Touring rack assembly.

FRANKFURT – Building on the international success of its heralded S-Series, Adamson Systems Engineering will add the S10n line array cabinet to its offerings and introduce the integration-focused IS-Series family of loudspeakers at Prolight + Sound 2017, Hall 3.1 Booth B60. The IS7 and IS118 begins shipping in late May, with the S10n shipping this summer.

QSC  is introducing the TouchMix DAW Utility Version 2.0 software application. The free software enables and simplifies two-way migration of digital audio wave files.

Apple users can now enjoy Nexo’s NeMo system management software, made available for the first time now on the macOS platform. NeMo V2.0 software also includes features and functionality that will change the operational control of Nexo systems. “Nexo NeMo V2.0 opens up a whole new playing field for Nexo controllers,” says Marc Lopez, director of marketing for commercial audio products, Yamaha Professional Audio.

The 5,000-watt TRC400A is a compact powerful column array sound system, featuring twice the components as the company’s TC200A system. The TRC400A includes four TRx3903 columns and two TRx3018A powered subs. The broad coverage of this system is increased over the TRC200A up to 200 feet wide by 200 feet deep, covering up to 50% more people.

Adamson Systems Engineering has announced the release of Load Library V4, enhancing the user experience and elevating the sonic performance of Adamson products in the field to a whole new level.
 
Now, all Adamson loudspeakers are presented as a single module in Lake Controller, simplifying the output routing process and minimizing the time it takes to complete group assignments.

Entertainment Structural Products, Inc. (ESP) announced their new MEGABlox and MICROBlox truss accessory connectors, which are engineered by ESP for permanent installation. Designed for truss chords from 35 mm to 6 inches in two-sided or six-sided configurations, ESP says these new truss accessory connectors can be used to connect lights and speakers without whacky wing nuts or protrusions.
