Studer is shipping its Vista 5 Black Edition console, which shares the Vista platform and adds the power of the Studer Infinity Core processor and is available in 22/32/44-fader sizes. Standard features include the Vistronics interface and FaderGlow technology, as well as the Infinity Core’s advanced capabilities, such as Dynamic EQ plug-ins and full Core redundancy with up to 1,000 MEQs (Mono Equivalent Channels) and support for the Infinity Core 300, 600 and 1000. Outline notes that, although its speaker is small enough to be held in one hand, the Vegas 24 can serve as a high power, wide-dispersion externally powered loudspeaker designed for under balcony fill, front fill and delay applications of any size. “This high bandwidth, low profile device is optimized for superb vocal and instrument intelligibility and clarity due to its industry leading Common Intelligibility Scale (CIS) rating,” the company notes.

Sensaphonics says its new D2 Dual Dynamic IEM is the first dual-driver dynamic in-ear monitor with soft silicone earpieces. Designed for on stage use along with mobile devices, the D2 utilizes twin dynamic drivers to deliver full-range high fidelity audio with strong, visceral bass response, clear mid-range and extended high frequencies. The dual drivers operate in parallel to achieve the needed sensitivity.
