d&b audiotechnik announces two new software enabling technologies: CPL for SL-Series (coupling), and Temperature Humidity Control (THC) real-time high-frequency compensation for loudspeaker arrays. The CPL for SL-Series technology allows the extraordinary d&b SL-Series line arrays to be easily adjusted for specific venues. THC provides high frequency compensation due to temp/humidity as part of the d&b ArrayProcessing software: fluctuations in both temp/humidity can now be addressed in real time via the R1 Remote Control software.

Waves Audio is shipping its eMotion LV1 v11, a new updated version of their eMotion LV1 live software mixer, with major updates and user-requested new features, including the new MyMon Personal Monitor Mixing App. Based on Waves SoundGrid technology, the eMotion LV1 promises superior sound quality as well as a quick workflow needed in demanding environments. To offer more control over every aspect of live sound, each of the mixer’s channels has its own plugin rack capable of running up to eight Waves and third-party plugins. That lets users mix live with hundreds of their favorite plugins, all running inside the mixer itself.
