ZCASE, a manufacturer of professional ATA-300 flight cases, expands its line of flip-ready, easy retracting hydraulic lift cases with a new model for the DiGiCo Quantum 225 digital mixing console. ZCASE designs are based on high-quality plywood and aluminum profiles, locks, handles, hardware rings, etc. The boxes offer good strength properties with low weight, which is ideal for air transport
Features of the Quantum 225 cases include: a new system unfastening the bed with the console separate from the case; two 2U rack spaces under the console; a new, double shock-absorbent suspension system; storage compartment with space to fit a Dell P2418ht plus small items; and a 15 cm-deep doghouse. After setup, console fader height is at 91cm, the outer dimensions are 139 x 68 x118 cm and the weight of the empty case is 138 kg. Options include a 2U drawer, a 1U keyboard drawer and an arm holder for a laptop or a VESA mount screen display.
Besides the Quantum 225, cases are made based on standard designs (including consoles from Allen & Heath, DiGiCo, Midas, Yamaha and others) as well as from individual customer requirements based on the data and drawings provided by them.
Deliveries are slated to begin in Q2 2021.
