With the NX L44-A, RCF has developed a powerful two-way line source that delivers high-performance sound. Three 10” neodymium woofers and a 1.4” high frequency driver with 3“ voice coil on an asymmetrical waveguide are precision-controlled by on-board DSP and powered by a two-channel 1400-watt digital amp, delivering very natural articulation and high SPL for professional live sound reinforcement.

Technology and features
Low frequencies
The NX L44-A 10” neodymium mid-bass woofers offer excellent linearity, superb efficiency and high power handling capabilities. The 2.5” voice coil combined with a high strength fiberglass former allows for high efficiency and superior frequency response extension.
The M-roll surround shape, exponential cone geometry and dual spider design offer exceptional linear response and precise low frequency reproduction.
High frequencies
The high-performance compression driver with a 3” voice coil with a 1.4” exit throat allows RCF to lower the crossover point to 800 Hz, increasing intelligibility and linearity.
The diaphragm and suspension are precision formed from ultra-thin pure titanium. The suspension is based on an innovative design that drastically reduces distortion.
The horn’s asymmetrical design provides a tight 90° x 30° directivity that allows for the projection of sound energy with greater accuracy while avoiding undesired reflections.
DSP processing and amplification
The NX L44-A is powered by a 1400W Class-D digital amplifier, with 400W driving the HF compression driver 
and delivering 1000W for the LF.
A new generation DSP handles all the processing within the cabinet and allows adjustment for a single column application or HF close coupling application when cascaded in a stacked array.
The NX L44-A is a true active high-power ready-to-use two-way line source array system, equipped with a high efficiency digital amplifier that delivers superior SPL, while reducing energy requirements. The integrated processing and the cabling reduction will make the set-up faster and easier and, thanks to its compact size, the space requirement is reduced to the minimum.
