RCF expands its line of products with the introduction of L-Pad 16CX USB 16-channel and L-Pad 24CX USB 24-channel mixer models.

More details from RCF-USA (www.rcf-usa.com):

EDISON, NJ – Following its well-received launch of the L-Pad mixer line last year, RCF has expanded the line with the introduction of the L-Pad 16CX USB 16-channel and L-Pad 24CX USB 24-channel models. With these new mixers, RCF has taken a different approach to the small format analog mixer market segment in style and feature set – both products packaged in a metal chassis, adding features including compressors and a library of internal effects, and providing USB access.

“These two mixers are aimed squarely at the gigging musician and semi-pro band,” says RCF product manager Sandro Chinellato. “We have worked closely with our design house and our R&D resources to engineer these feature-packed models.”

The 4-bus mixers each feature 4 stereo inputs and 4 group outputs, 4 aux sends per channel (2 pre & 2 post), 3-band sweepable EQ on the mic/line input channels (4-band fixed EQ on stereo line channels), dynamic compressors on select mic input channels, 24-bit DSP effects with 100 presets, 60 mm faders, USB interface onboard for computer software and monitoring, plus a versatile L-Pad slot for option cards (MP3 player/recorder or Bluetooth connection).

The L-Pad 16CX USB is a 16-channel, 4-bus mixer that features 10 mic/line inputs with balanced XLR (6 with dynamic compression) or alternatively 8 mono line inputs with insert send/return, plus 4 channels of stereo inputs.

The L-Pad 24 CX USB is a 24-channel, 4-bus mixer that features 18 mic/line inputs with balanced XLR (14 with dynamic compression) or alternatively 16 mono line inputs with insert send/return, plus 4 channels of stereo inputs.

A further bonus for musicians is the ability to capture their live mix via their laptop and DAW software via the L-Pad’s USB connection allowing two channels of 16-bit audio that can be streamed. And since the connection is bi-directional, audio from the laptop can also be sent to the L-Pad mixer for playback purposes.

The L-Pad 16CX USB and L-Pad 24CX USB are now shipping. For additional information: L-Pad 16CX USB (http://www.rcf.it/en_US/l-pad/l-pad-16cx-usb) & L-Pad 24CX USB (http://www.rcf.it/en_US/l-pad/l-pad-24cx-usb).
