RCF’s new SUB 905-AS II active subwoofer has been designed specifically for building powerful subwoofer satellite systems where simultaneous compactness and high sound levels are required.

More details from RCF (www.rcf-usa.com):

The SUB 905-AS II has the most advanced RCF woofer technology, coupled with powerful digital amplifiers. It offers the perfect blend of bass reproduction, high-pressure level and compact dimensions for mobile bands or DJs.

SUB 905-AS II is equipped with a new generation of 2200 Watt Digital Amplifier that produce a very high output, an extremely low distortion and an incredible natural sound. The amplifier features a solid mechanical aluminum structure that not only stabilize the amplifier during transportation but also assist in the heat dissipation.

The input board offers stereo xrl inputs and stereo xlr link-crossover outputs with switchable crossover frequencies for satellite systems. The system has a built-in DSP with selectable presets for perfect and easy adaptation to RCF’s active 2-way speakers. Ideal for 12” or 15” active speakers from live sound series such as ART7, 4PRO and D-Line.

Key applications for the LF extension offered by the SUB 905-AS are expected to include main club PA system and DJ/band reinforcement.
