RCF recently introduced its AM1125 (p/n 12135082), pictured here, a mixer-amplifier, and UP1121 (p/n 12135083), pictured below, a power amplifier. Both are touted for their flexibility, reliability, audio intelligibility and construction quality. The chassis are standard rack 19-inch and the 2-unit mounting accessories are “in-the-box.”
More details from RCF (www.rcf.it):
AM1125 is a 120W RMS mixer amplifier with five inputs, four of them universal (mic-line sensitivity) and one switchable phantom power (required by electret microphones). The 5th input is to be used with line level sources (e.g. CD or MP3 players).
Connectors are XLR; an RCA is present for the 4th input when used as line level and the 5th input is for the AUX.
An insert point is available on RCA plugs to interconnect external devices (e.g.. equalisers and additional power units) to the amplifier sections.
The priority of the INPUT 1 on the other inputs can be activated by voice presence or through a dry closing contact. The other inputs are muted, with the exception of the AUX INPUT, for which it is possible to adjust the level via the ducking control trimmer.
Input level controls and master volume plus tone controls are provided. A power-on indicator and an LED level control, useful to check the signal presence and to give an indication of the delivered power, are located on the front panel.
Speaker outputs are both constant impedance (4 Ohm) and constant voltage (70V and 100V). Power supply can be from the mains (230 Vac and 115 Vac switchable) or 24 V DC.
UP1121 is a 120W RMS power amplifier with a single balanced line level input, available on a screw-type connector.
Master volume control and tone controls are provided. A power-on indicator and an LED level control, useful to check the signal presence and to give an indication of the delivered power, are on front panel.
