One Systems’ OPA-181SP high output, low frequency subwoofer joins the company’s On Point Audio brand.
More details from One Systems (www.onesystems.com):
Intended for use in professional bi-amp applications, the new subwoofer features an 18-inch low frequency transducer that offers excellent power handling and extended linear excursion. It is optimized for use between 35Hz and 80Hz. Peak system output — 127 dB SPL — is achieved when 4th order filters are implemented.
Utilizing a rectangular enclosure geometry, the OPA-181SP has a larger internal volume than conventional trapezoidal enclosures. The result is increased low-frequency response that surpasses subwoofers of similar size.
The input section consists of a single four position barrier strip. The minimal system impedance is 8 ohms. Multiple M10 rigging points allow for either vertical or horizontal eyebolt suspension. The enclosure is built with high strength, void free plywood and finished in On Point Audio’s Power Coat polyurea resin coating.
