Loudspeaker manufacturer One Systems introduces the newest addition to the Hybrid Series: the 108/HSB Direct Weather subwoofer. The product is intended for venues where additional low frequency acoustic output is required in conjunction with One Systems 4-, 6- and 8-inch Hybrid loudspeakers. Like the rest of the Hybrid Series, the 108/HSB uses an injection molded enclosure designed for use in direct weather applications. It also features 304-grade stainless steel covered in a new poly coating that prevents against corrosion as well as marine-grade stainless steel. This translates into a product capable of withstanding the level of moisture and corrosion that was in the past only associated with higher grade loudspeakers. Hanging hardware is manufactured in 316-grade stainless steel, ensuring that the 108/HSB can be hung – from multiple M8 flying points – outdoors in all venues other than oceanfront or on cruise ships.
An additional design enhancement includes internal transformers that allows system integrators to select between 8-ohm or 70 volt /100 volt. The 108/HSB is available in black or white enclosures.
