Russian manufacturer Oktava debuted its MK-207 professional condenser handheld vocal microphone at the virtual NAMM 2021. The MK-207 is a large-diaphragm, condenser design with external polarization of the capsule and a cardioid polar pattern. The microphone is equipped with a built-in shock absorber, pop filter and windshield and is designed for vocal/speech and instrument miking applications.
Intended to bring the studio quality sound to the stage the MK-207’s circuit design provides a significantly expanded frequency range (20 Hz to 20,000 Hz), high sensitivity and low self-noise. The microphone weighs 350 grams and will be available in black. The product innovation has a design traditional for the brand, repeating the clean lines of the body of the Oktava MD-305, its first first dynamic vocal mic, which debuted in 2020.
